Learning From A Guard Turned Millionaire

June 13, 2018 by Claude Fullinfaw Leave a Comment

Yesterday I was fortunate in attending the USANA Business Summit here in Manila. The event was held at the MOA Arena Stadium and there were 6000 delegates in attendance.

THE GUARD THAT STOOD OUT!

One speaker stood out from all the countless attendees and he comes from Samar in the south of the Philippines.

Lets call him Geo the guard as his career previously was as a security guard in a mall in Singapore. Jokingly he said he went to Singapore to find a wife. As thats where he met his wife.

HOW DID HE FIND USANA?

In Singapore he worked hard as any OFW and saved his hard earned salary to send home to his family. While he was in Singapore his mother feel sick and the family was asked to look at USANA products to help with the mum’s health condition. As most of the talk was in tagalog and I could not get everything said I believe he eventually saw that there was a way to make extra income through USANA.

HE SET FIRM GOALS!

When he did join up in 2012 his main aim was

  1. to become a USANA Director or earn just $600 USD a week within the first year of joining.
  2. He also set his second year goal to be a USANA Gold Director. Gold Directors earn $1000 USD plus bonuses if they are Executive GD. Those were his first two year goals.

Now how many of us have such concrete goals? In fact any goals of any sort to begin with. Not many of us can say so. Not this man.

HOW HE PAWNED HIS CAMERA!

Now in his first year working as a guard as well as USANA member he was asked to go to Manila to attend a USANA Training. He needed to buy his airfare as well as training ticket. He had no money to do that. All he had was a 1800 SING Dollar Camera that he had purchased with hard earned money saved from working as a guard. He sold that to a Pawn shop for $500 SD and went to the Philippines for USANA Business training.

This was the sacrifice he was prepared to pay in order to get what he wanted.

  • How many of us will do that? How many of us complain just to travel from even Pasay to go to NOA for a Business Event? Many of us do. Not this man.

HE DISAPPOINTS HIMSELF!

Interestingly he did not become a Gold Director after two years but a Diamond Director in USANA. Over the next 3 years he went on to become a 3 Star Diamond Director. Today he does not walk around Malls to guard them but travels the world with his wife living the life of a millionaire.

PAYING THE PRICE!

He managed to do all things because he was willing to pay a higher price for a reward which was many more times than that what he was earning as a guard.

WHAT YOU SHOULD TAKE AWAY TODAY?

If you are reading this ask yourself

  • if there was an opportunity out there that could give you the dream life you truly wanted, what would you be willing to give up to get that?
  • Are you willing to give up everything short term to get what you want long term?

If you are and if you are not yet in USANA msg me and I like to have a chat with you.

I hope I have added value to your day today.

A Story How I Persisted To Help Someone

June 11, 2018 by Claude Fullinfaw Leave a Comment

A couple of weeks ago I went to see a new member called Bong and Aline in Pasig. Pasig is a very big suburb in Manila and has so many streets that getting lost is very easy to do.

That Monday we were two of us attempting to help this couple get started in their home based business in USANA.

There was Nora who agreed to come along to be my interpreter as I am not good at speaking Tagalog yet. She was coming from Fairview and like me had no idea exactly where we were to meet.

WHEN THINGS GET HARD DONT DISPAIR!

I on my end was heading to Pasig from Makati and getting to the area was fast as my Grab Driver was good. But then all trouble broke out. We couldn’t locate the exact location and what should have been a 45 minute trip stretched to over 90 minutes and I was scared that my driver in frustration would drop me off in the area and I be totally lost. Fortunately he had a heart of gold and stayed on to assist me.

While this was happening at my end, Nora was having her fair share of troubles too. She had started the day really early and after 3 hours was so lost it was hilarious.

Home based business in USANA
Always work with the end in mind

As midday approached the summer sun beat down on us and we wanted to throw things in and go back to Makati. I was still separated from Nora.

While all this was happening …

The couple had no idea to what was happening as they were not checking their phones and so all our SOS messages were being unheeded.

There was a moment I felt like giving up and cancelling everything. But my better sense got the upper hand that hot day and I preserved and kept searching. Eventually we found each other and also managed to find our new members Aline and Bong.

To cut a long story short this couple has now got started in the business of USANA, and striving to do everything we have taught them that day.

But what if we had given up and gone home just because of our frustrations of being lost. They would never have gotten the support they badly needed.

WHY TELL YOU THIS!

In life something we must place ourselves second to serve others better. Most things in life will never come when we want them to. However they will come if we preserve had enough and long enough. Sadly most people quit too early never to see the results they so badly wanted and so badly deserve.

HAVE YOU PICKED UP A LESSON HERE?

I hope you have picked up the main Essence here and that is never quit when its gets too hard. Remember when it gets hard its a sign you are getting closer to your goals.

I hope you have learned something again today from my experiences in life.

Like this post to encourage me to keep on writing.

What Mitchie shared with us at the USANA office last night

June 9, 2018 by Claude Fullinfaw Leave a Comment

Last evening I sat in a room of excited and enthusiastic men and women at the Enterprise Center listening to the Business Opportunity presented by Dan the first speaker. He is someone who currently is earning a multiple 6 figure income per month in pesos and is very successful.

Dan shared how just a few years ago his first payslip after taxes was under 5000 pesos a fortnight. He said he is surprised how he managed financially in Manila on such a small salary. But as most people around him learned to managed he too adjusted his belt and coped in survival mode.

After Dan spoke we had another speaker speak. Her name is Mitchie and she used to work for a top accounting firm as a CPA in Manila. At age 25 she managed 5 companies under her supervision. Being competitive she learned to do her job well and never once thought she would ever do MLM 🙂

About 8 years ago she was first asked to see USANA. At that time she was working on the 20th floor of the same building, The Enterprise Center in Ayala. With a little persuasion her friend managed to get her to visit the office of Usana. It was there she met my mentor Nath Sunio who was at that time earning a multiple 6 figure income a month. I shall share about Nath in another post soon.

The message from Mitchie last night is …

  • Ask yourself what is inspiring you?
  • Is it your seniors at work that one day you hope to be like?
  • Is their lifestyle something you envy or is it just the status they have?
  • Is it their income you want one day?
  • Do they have flexibility of hours of work?

Or is their life super busy, super stressed and not something being envious about.

FAST FORWARD YOUR LIFE!

Now she asked us to think 5 or 10 years out. Can you see your life being any different to those ahead of you right now in your field? If you are not so sure as yourself that question again and again until you are dead sure.

Because one thing she said is sure, its this. You will get older and you will have lost all that time you have right now. What if you can save precious time and also enjoy life and enjoy life at the same time.

WHY SHE IS GRATEFUL?

Today she is grateful she was not subborn back then to reject USANA totally. She now has a family. She is able to give her young family a life totally undreamed of by most Filipinos. She earns very near a 7 figure a month now. She has been able to take her parents all over the world. Something unimaginable in her job as a CPA back in mid 2000.

HER MESSEAGE TO US ALL IS …

She mentioned that not being in the company you dont stand any chance to change your life. However if you do sign up you stand a 50-50 Chance of possibly changing your life. Why not be a part of USANA. Give it all you have and maybe life can be different. That’s her message.

If you feel these lines above do make sense contact me and lets talk soon.

Day 5 – What a a Typical Day In My Life Is

December 28, 2017 by Claude Fullinfaw Leave a Comment

Its the 28th of December 2017 and its Day 5 into my Run towards being Diamond.

So what is a typical day in my life right now?

I generally wake around 6.30 am trying to be up with the birds so I can catch the worm as you may say. 🙂 Sometimes I do find it hard to wake early if I have slept late.

Waking early helps me gather my thoughts together and plan my day ahead. I say a small prayer followed by my affirmation that helps me stay in track. PS: If you want to know what it is search for affirmation on this blog as I made a mention of it a few days ago. It may help you too.

Today has been a rather interesting day. I was introduced to a pretty cute cafe right at the end of Palanca Street here in Legaspi Village. Its where Palanca meets Legaspi Street right opposite the BDO branch. This cafe is called Curator and is a cafe during the day and a Cocktail Lounge at night. Very cute indeed.

David, an Australian Businessman from Sydney, based here in Manila was kind enough to share this local secret with me last night.

Sipping hot black brewed coffee was fantastic this morning sharing ideas with David whom I woke to keep me company. After a couple of hours of chatter we parted and I then got stuck in work.

I spent a good part of today prospecting online via Facebook. I have this great Fanpage that converts well and adding information regularly to this page helps give value to my fans as well as convinces them that I may be the right person to turn to when they need help.

Now helping them is key so I am working on an online presentation with a business partner of mine so we can start ZOOM webinars before the end of this year. I was busy copying and pasting slides the whole day then running the work done against Anne Adel in Iriga City so we can have an effective webinar soon.

Why will this presentation be helpful?

  • Firstly we can reach out to more people who cant for some reason come to the Makati Office of our company in Manila to attend seminars. These people can attend online and learn more about our products and business
  • We can teach mums in the Philippines how they can do business from home while looking after their children. How they can add more income to their family budgets. How important will this be to a family in the province and how important will it be for mothers to be able to work from home part time right here in the Philippines. I feel this will be a huge help if we can help these moms.
  • We will truly show these mums just how easy a home based business truly is.
  • We will be able to take our products right into the homes of many Filipinos
  • Lastly we will be able through online presentations give timely support via webinars. These webinars will be recorded and uploaded to our team Facebook page for those members who just cant attend the live presentations.

Best of all Anne Adel is a young mum herself. Her baby is just under 4 months and she has been very effectively growing her business online  while being at home. It is this skill that she will be sharing through her presentations to countless mothers in the Philippines.

So Anne Adel and I have been busy today preparing for our big launch in a few days.

Its 5.40 pm now in the evening and I am chilling right now at cafe Breton in Greenbelt 3 sipping black coffeee again penning my thoughts here. Later this evening I will catch up with a friend of mine called Tariq in the vicinity. Tariq is a local business man and I met him a few years ago on one of my visits to the Philippines.

Its buzzing here all around me with cafe dinners chatting and relaxing in the festive season of Christmas. I just love the flexibility of my life as I can take my work anywhere and still be relaxed about it.

My day will eventually wrap up with an affirmation, small thank you prayer and then a deep sound sleep.

Today I certainly added a lot of positive seeds that will help me reap a great harvest over the next few months. I am pleased.

So What About You?

So tell me what have you been doing today? Have you given any thoughts about this year, how you have performed and what you want for the next 12 months? Or are you just going to let things run its course for yet another year? Its never too late to start.

Drop me a note if you want to chat about what you like to do.

Day 3 – Creating An Affirmation To Help Me Focus More On Going Executive Gold First

December 26, 2017 by Claude Fullinfaw Leave a Comment

Its the 26th of December 2017 and just 3 days into my year long run becoming a USANA Diamond in 12 months.

Each day I will journal what I do and whats helping me, any struggles and how I am working through them.

Today I want to talk about the affiramation I constant chant so together with my Vision Board I can stay focus almost all the time. I say these words below as often as I can and especially before I sleep and as soon as I wake up.

I just had a thought float through my mind that I will program my alarm clock on my phone to go off every 60 minutes on the hour so I will stay on track better. How’s that! 🙂

Here is my affiramation I use …

I am an Executive Gold Director and earning over $1250 USD a week and the money is flowing in effortlessly.

The affirmation above will change as soon as I reach that status and be replaced by the next rank. I will keep doing that until I get to Executive Diamond by December 15th 2018.

If you are reading this and not in network marketing then all you can do is replace the words “Executive Gold Director” and the dollar amount with something that you like to achieve in 12 months. It can be around personal health, community or for that matter anything close to heart. It doesnt matter as long as you have a goal and you start saying it over and over again. I suggest you say it at least 10 times a day.

How has this been helping me the last week?

Well, I certainly can feel a new energy flow through me now. I am focused on what I am aiming for and this is attracting me to like minded people. People with dis-similar goals my mind shrugs them off and I don’t go down the road of trying hard to convince. I just love this inner strength of the mind. The power of positive mind power. As Neopoleon Hill would say “The Power Of Positive Mental Attitude”.

I hope I have touched you a bit and empowered you for the year ahead. Look out for my next post tomorrow.

Leave a comment if you feel this has been of value today to you.

PS: Tomorrow I will talk about how I am using accountability to wrap this all up.

Cheers
