How To Pick Your Inner Circle Members For Your MLM Team

It’s Monday the start of a new beginning, a new week, a new phase in business.

I hope your weekend was great.  My notes helping you this week to find the right people to partner with ?

More on creating “inner circle” members in your team. Continuation from last week notes on Inner Circle – Lessons I am picking up as I read the 21 Laws on Leadership by John C Maxwell.

You may have no one in your team right now or you may have a few – these tips will help you focus on what you need to advance ahead. We all want to rank advance which must be the goal. Once the goal is set take your focus off it as it will distract you. Follow the process 🙂

Follow The Process!

Marry The Process!

What you need is the action steps to implement. I call it the process. Marry the process. Divorce the results. The results will look after themselves if you marry the process. These thoughts are borrowed from Cedrick Harris another MLM legend.

The first step is getting the right people to be on your management team – your inner circle.

The 5 Steps To Consider!

As you start to consider if people should be in your inner circle of your team ask yourself the following questions:

1. Do they have high influence with others? ✅

2. Do they bring a complimentary gift to to the table?

A. Are these gifts adding strength/ value in areas where you may possibly be weak.

B. Good inner business circle leaders ask business questions of each other, share business experiences, and test business growth ideas among inner circle members.

3. Do they hold strategic position in your team?

A. If they are – then are they working on the same page as you?

B. If they are not the entire team maybe in trouble.

4. Do they add value to the team and to the company?

A. The people in your inner circle must be adders or multipliers.

B. They must have a proven track record as assets to the team.

C. Look for only lifters for your inner circle.

PS:  ?If they don’t add value they will hinder your growth in the company. –

PS:  ? It’s lonely at the top, so you’d better find someone to take along with you.

5. Do they positively impact other inner circle members. It’s about team chemistry.

A. How do they interact with other inner circle members.

B. They must be a good fit to each other.

C. They must make one another better, to raise one another’s game.

D. They should encourage each other.

E. They must share information and wisdom.

F. They must create friendly competition.

G. They should improve each other as leaders.

If you can answer yes to these questions, then they are excellent future business partners for your inner circle.

Five Reasons Why Attending Events Are Important!

Every home based business owner must attend events to be able to experience success in their home business.

I have listed 5 reasons which in my opinion are very important in creating success in my network marketing home based business in Brisbane.

Five reasons to go for seminars

1. Get trained or educated
2. You get motivated
3. You get inspired
4. You get connected
5. You have lots of fun

Lets look at each of these five reasons and see why must we attend seminars and events.

Getting Trained or Educated

At seminars you get exposed to a variety of speakers. These people come from different backgrounds with different stories to share. Getting even one gold nugget of wisdom in the last hour of the last session on the last day is well worth sitting through the long sessions. Especially when they can possibly turn your business around. Sitting on your couch at home is certainly not going to find those people with those nuggets to share.

Getting Motivated!

At events you get excited and motivated to do things. This pumped up effect last for a few days or weeks long enough to help you get into action and create momentum in your home business in Brisbane.

As this motivation lasts for a limited period you need to periodically attend events to stay pumped up. By the way you will not get motivated just staying at home.

You get inspired!

At events you meet people personally who may share stories that could inspire you to feel you an do network marketing too. Speakers on stage share their journey that inspires me every time I attend. Inspiration lasts much longer than just being motivated. I get empowered when I am inspired . ?

You get connected!

At events you get to network with people forming sometimes long lasting connections. Networking is very important for business. Make it a point to connect with 10 people that may add value to your business at every event you attend.

I personally take a selfie with these people, add them to my Facebook and get their business card off them. A few days after the event I send them a short email thanking them for the connection. A month later I send them a thank you card with the selfie photo on the card. Over the year I send them two follow up cards. One at Christmas and another on their birthdays.

Lastly Having Lots Of Fun!

Seminars are heaps of fun. From the travel to the event, attending the sessions, dining out and meeting new friends sharing similar interests beats every thing else I know.

What Tools Do I Use To Build My USANA Business?

Every professional goes out each day with his or her tools. A carpenter arrives with his hammer and saw. A writer with his pen. A accountant with the books.

We too must have tools too.
Here is a list I always keep in my little green box with me. It follows me in the car, inter city as well as overseas. What do I have in that little plastic box? Let’s see …

1. The USANA Health and Freedom Newspaper. Not just one copy but three. In case a very deserving prospect wants to read one. Each paper has my business card stapled to the back so people may call me. I don’t hand write it. I am a professional. If people consider me it’s because I am professional.

2. USANA Product brochures. Again business card stapled to this to. I have at least 3 at all times. I give these to people if their interest is in health. I don’t give both. Just either this or the H & F.

3. Business Cards. I have customised my cards to suit me. The paper is thick unlike most. It is good quality. I want a create a good first impression. Thin cards are weak and look and feel terrible in one’s hand. Every professional has a business card. It’s a sticky point when you meet people. You can ask from their details while you give yours to them. Be impressive!

4. A small A5 size note pad to write notes down, take orders or draw the business plan.

5. A USANA receipt book. Every sale comes with a receipt. Again be professional- give receipts.

6. A product summary sheet – this is a sheet I give customers when they buy products. It shows then how many tablets to take daily. Takes away the guest work for them. If you want a copy ask me ?

7. The Nutritional Comparative Guide. I have the important pages pre marked with coloured stickers to save me time in presenting. I want to look prepared.

8. A couple of company monthly magazines to show the rank advancements and incentives to inspire people. I normally don’t give these away. I would send company videos via YouTube to potential prospects.

8. Testimonials. I have a small black book with hand written product and business testimonials of people I have helped over the years. Professionals always have stories of former happy customers to share with potentially new clients. You should too.

9. A plastic folder with: Application forms, product order forms, Business Pack Benefits and prices, Pricelists.

10. USANA Product Book with all products in it. Not to be given away.

11. A pen

12. Video Testimonials : saved on your smart phone. I have two folder – Product Testimonials & Business Testimonials. I get 30 to 40 sec video clips from my happy clients or other USANA members. Having saved them in a folder in my Photo Library helps me to share quicker.

13. USANA Celebrities- this folder is also in my photo library to save chance meetings with USANA Icons. I use these selfie photos to share these Diamonds stories to inspire people that anything is possible. Remember people but stories not facts.

14. My Smart Phone – I want to take photos of every one I meet as a selfie. I want to create stories to share in future.

15. A copy of Rich Dad Poor Dad and Perfect Business. If the presentation is going good with a client and the person still needs to be convinced I need a third party to endorse network marketing.

I will ask the prospect if we can meet a week later. If they say yes I ask them if they learn better by reading or watching videos. If they say they love reading I ask them if they have read Rich DaD Poor Dad. If the answer is no I suggest they should and ask them to read it. I lend it to them. This way I have an excuse to meet again. Eric Woree says we must set up the next meeting. Never try to close. They will close themselves into signing the paperwork. Our job is setting up a follow up meeting. That’s all. ?

I have used this technique many a time and got people to join USANA and my team.

Invest a bit of money in tools.
