Day 30 From the Starting Line | How Am I Progressing

I cant believe that I started my 2018 goals 30 days ago well before the year started and have not stopped since. I am stoked. This is probably mainly due to my strong vision and where I aim to be by December 15th this year.

SINCE MY LAST POST …

Now in the last 2 weeks since my last post I have had the opportunity to listen to some very clever people. People actually who are 7 figure earners. These are pretty clever people and it was great to pick their brains. So today I will share some of their nuggets of gold I gleamed with you.

Why its so much easier, not impossible, to go after your dreams in today’s economy than ever before. Best of all you can do exceptionally well to. Probably you not believing this so keep reading as there is a great chance you will benefit from this information too.

WHAT DO PEOPLE COMPLAIN ABOUT!

Now you probably often hear of people complaining that life is hard, things at the supermarket are exceptionally expensive and there is not enough money to go around. Well that can be true for many things however if we dig digger we find that we can use these times to profit immensely too.

Do you know that things are cheaper now than at any other time on the planet?

Today we can literally buy any type of food at the markets from any part of the world easily and at an affordable prices. The same goes for communication where we can call our family half way round the world for free. Yes free. Isn’t this amazing too.

The same goes for clothing and the rest of the things you so easily can get your hands on.

SO WHY ARE PEOPLE COMPLAINING?

So why then people complain that things are too hard to get? Why are people losing their jobs and then finding new jobs just too hard to get into? Well, its not the economy nor the government that is causing this problem as most people think. There is nothing wrong with either of these two.

So what is wrong then?

From Hard Times Arise Opportunities!

Before I talk about what is wrong let me tell you that in times of hardship arises opportunities. Great opportunities.

For example after the Great Depression of 1929 there were seen the greatest rise of the Millionaires world wide. The same was seen again after the 2008-09 stock market crash. So its not hard times that cause more hardship. Hard times such as the Global Financial Crisis is the market’s way to weed out the weak and shoddy companies that don’t offer true value to their customers. Sadly some people do lose their jobs but it can open many more doors for the ones that look outside the box.

So if its not the economy then what is it? Is its not the system that is broken then what is causing this hardship seen by many world wide right now?

Its Systems Being Overloaded!

It got to do with the load on the system that runs our economy. Not the economy itself.

Let me explain …

Imagine a super highway across the city. You want to use it really early in the morning. At 4 am in the morning you can get on that highway with ease and get to your destination relatively fast. No stop lights, no traffic jams. Its a smooth drive and you arrive on time. Why? Because hardly anyone was using the system or highway at that time.

However that same highway used at 5 pm on a Friday is a totally different story. We see it everyday in Manila in the Philippines. It will literally take you over 2 hours to just travel 8 km in Manila from Makati to Ortigas during peak hour traffic. However the same journey on a public holiday will take you about 8 to 10 minutes. Can you see the reason why? There is nothing wrong with the highway. Its got to do with the number of people using the road at the same time.

WHAT CAN WE LEARN FROM THIS?

So its not the highway thats the issue but rather the load on the highway at that particular time.

So its the same with our economy. The system that runs the economy works and works well. However, today there are too many people competing for jobs and placing an enormous load on the system and its not working well. Its actually dis-functional.

So if you are trying to do well in a system that’s overloaded and broken then you are swimming upstream against the current. You got to look at other systems that work better, systems that are not overloaded and stretched to their limits.

Day 10 | Its Jan 2nd 2018 And I have had another win

My journey into 2018 has started to become very exciting. Let me explain.

Ever since I decided to totally focus on my goals and specifically getting to be a USANA Diamond by December 2018 I have noticed things begin to fall into place.

Just two days ago I had one of my Usana Distributors in Manila TXT me that she wanted to be mentored and asked me to help her get to her goals in the year ahead. She asked me “How can I make more money in my business in 2018. This was a big win for me as I had asked the Universe for someone who would step up and want to raise the bar and want more for his or her life. This was Nora. She wanted more.

So when Nora message me I was thrilled as the she had initiated it. We met on Jan 1st in Makati at a Greenbelt cafe and set about looking at where she wanted to go with her Usana Business and how she would start doing things that would get her to that goal.

We identified certain areas of her network marketing business that needed attention immediately and I empowered her with a couple of great personal development books to power her through the month of January. We are focusing on John C Maxwell’s books and the one I grabbed for her from the National Book Store in Greenbelt 1 was “Failing Forward”. If you have not read it I strongly suggest you do so.

Failing Forward helps us to look at failure as the stepping stones to success rather than the roadblock where most people stop and walk away from achieving what they desire.

I will monitor Nora’s progress over the weeks ahead, helping her to move past roadblocks and look at any small setbacks as signs to improve on and get closer to her goals. If she is seeing failure it just means that she is attempting to do things. It doesn’t mean she is failing.

Lets look at our own failures as just the results of trying to do something. Look at them as a result to improve upon. By improving a series of such results we can only imagine how much closer to the actual goal we would then be. Lets make 2018 a better year not only for Nora but for each of us too.

Day 2 – Setting up my Vision Board to get to USANA Diamond by end of 2018

Its Day 2 from that starting line and I am setting up my Vision Board so I can stay focus most of the time until December 2018 to complete my Diamond Run in Usana Business.

USANA Business — What Are Your Plans For 2018? Have you set your GOALS yet?

I broke it down in 5 Sections so far. WHY?

I first need to solidify my Gold business and become an Executive Gold before moving to the next rank. I am 3 ranks away from Diamond right now and can smell the success it will give me.

The 5 parts to getting me to Executive Gold are:

The two people I will initially focus on. These two emerging leaders will be the ones I will help coach, mentor and empower for the next 2 , 3 months until March 2018. Until they are enjoying incomes of no less than $400 US a week. I will dig deeper into their respective teams and help budding leaders succeed to.
The next thing I am focusing on is the main goal and thats getting to Diamond. All activities are based around this main goal. This goal takes the main stage or screen on my Vision Board.
Next comes the members who will assist me to get there. It is these people who I have to help to get their goals so that I get mine. They play too a massive part in my plan to succeed in the next 12 months.
Lastly comes the great bonus I will have achieved going Diamond. Getting to be on the South African Trip by the company in mid 2019.

After reaching Executive Goal I shall include another emerging leader so that I can focus on him and her to get to Executive Ruby.

As I endeavor to build my network marketing business here in Brisbane I pen down occurrences that happen in my team so that I can learn to remember them and learn from the mistakes. Here are some of the few things that come in mind that happens quite regularly with new team members in my organization. Occasionally older team members may also fall into this trap as they desperately try to move forward.

Never blame anyone for your lack of growth, lack of income. It is not the fault of your up-line, your down-lines ,or cross lines or even your customers. Look within and see how you can better yourself internally so the outside changes. Your mindset will manifest your outside. A rich positive mindset will align the Universe to give you what you want. Its the exact opposite if you have a poor mindset too.
Do not expect your up-lines to add people into your organization for you. It is your responsibility to grow your own team. If they do add people to your team its a blessing.
Do not expect your team to make you rich either. You set the good example by doing the three basic tasks daily – approaches, follow-ups and presentations. They will copy what you do.
Never be rude to any team members for whatever reason. Especially when you may be stress over the fact when you are trying for a higher rank in your company. Tempers may flare and later you can be quite sorry for saying something you should not have.
Treat cross line distributors the same way as you would treat your own team. Be respectful of them too. Remember that leadership is earned not demanded. You are running a voluntary organization. You have not paid them to work for you. They chose to.
Always respect your company. The company has created the frame work for you to work in. Fall in love with the learning of that framework and excel.
