Day 9 – Jan 1 2018 Has Come And I Had The Biggest Win

I woke this morning full of beans as I awoke to an extra ordinary dream. I was in a strange dream where I was a Diamond Director in my company.

Now I have never ever had this dream before and I was surprised to have one.

Or should I be surprised as I have been saying affirmations for the last 10 days reprogramming my mind a minimum of 10 times a day. (Check my post on affirmations out.)

THE POWER OF THE SUBCONSCIOUS

We all know that its our subconscious mind that creates our external world we live in. Everything we see around us has been someone’s dream first. They dreamt of things much before they manifested. The mind is all powerful and can make things happen if we so chose to. Have you tried to say affirmations before? I have never had and thought it a crazy idea. It was only when I heard of the successes of others that I decided to give it a go. Thank God I did as this dream of mine is a result of affirmations. Its certainly working.

BEING CONSISTENT IS THE KEY HERE!

This has been exactly what I have been doing over and over again the last 10 days. In fact I have set my alarm to go off every two hours to prompt me to stay on track. I am not allowing anything to happen by chance anymore. As soon as the clock goes off I say my affirmation.

So this dream has been my biggest win so far and it was well timed to be during the night of the 31st December 2017. I am amazed that my mind now, both conscious and subconscious, is working almost together on getting me to my goals this year.

SO WHAT ABOUT YOU!

Are you on track with where you are going? Probably a bit too early to comment on that as the year has begun. Probably a bit too early if you have left it till January 1st to get started. But don’t despair as you can still get into top gear by focusing on where you want to get to and by starting NOW. Get ‘Brain Tracey’ book “Flight Plans” and have a read. He certainly places everything in the right order for you to get off the starting block easily.

Lets do this together and make this year our best. In this world we need to add value for the people who come after us. If we just take things from this world and not leave anything back then we slowly will deplete all the great things here on this planet. It raping the Universe. Its time to leave a small or big legacy for the next generation.

So friend do have a Happy New Year and design that life of yours too. Leave someone for our next generation.

Reasons Why I Need More Money in the 21st Century!

“I need more money” – Why do we seem to feel that the incomes we receive these days are not enough to pay our bills each month. We seem to be living from pay cheque to pay check, straddled with credit card debts, huge student loans and high mortgages to pay for.

In a recent study it has been seen that only 5% of college students who graduated from University managed to have a very happy secure and highly successful retirement life at the end of their career.

Just like the remaining 95% of students tracked they too had high paying jobs over the 6 figure level of pay annually. Yet unlike the 95% who were dead broke

We see that 54% of these students at time of retirement could not work after age 65;
36% died prematurely due to work stress, life style choices, etc &
5% still were working after age 65

So something was clearly different in the top 5% of the class of 100 university students.

What did they do different from the remaining 95% of the group.

How to Start Planning For The Future!

They planned for their future by owning businesses and using the profits from the businesses to invest in shares, real estate and other business models out there to earn more money.

While the 95% of the group were employed by these same 5% of people and had no idea on how to make more money.

One group worked for wages while the other group worked for profits.

If you have not read the book ‘Cash Flow Quadrant‘ on earning money by Robert Kiyosaki its worth picking it up and read about the four quadrants where money is seen to be in.

Find out which quadrant you lie in right now. The chances are possibly you are in the Left Quadrants – The Quadrants classified as the Poor Quadrants. The ones who work for money. These people are possibly not poor in money but rather poor in ‘Time’. Being time poor restricts them from doing a lot of things they would love to do. Such as…

Having quality time with family & friends
Enjoying the outdoors
Looking at your health – going to the gym, exercise
Having regular holidays, etc

A few years ago a group of researchers studied the progress of 100 students from a batch of passing out University Graduates in the USA. The study was so alarming that its was again done a few years later with the same results.

Just 5% were well off not to worry about “I Need Money Desperately!

The alarming thing about the study was that only 5% of the students at the time of retirement were either wealthy or financially well off. From the 5% of successful students only 1% had a net worth of over 2 Million dollars at the time of retirement and did not Need Cash Today. Off the remaining 4% they enjoyed incomes of over $100,000 each year from their investments. These 5% saw a need to make more money.

The study showed that these retirees had planned for retirement and either had businesses or had investments working for them.

I Need Cash Now -Not Planning Can Lead To Failing!

So what about the remaining college students were went out into the world and worked for a living. These graduates were found to be very successful during their working life. Most had either 6 figure incomes of close to six figure incomes but somehow failed to have enough savings at the time of retirement. This is why they now cry – “I need to make more money!”

Just imagine that from the 95% remaining college graduates 5% were still working at the age 65. All you have to do is look around you to get evidence of this. Today we see people well into their 60’s working hard for survival. These people are seen at the airports pushing trolleys, security personal, super market staff, taxi drivers, small franchise owners, etc. They realize that they need to keep on working because their savings may not or will not be enough if they don’t keep bringing money into the home.

I need to make more money now!

The research showed that 36% of the students who passed out were dead well before retirement. Unfortunately stress, bad eating habits probably from poor incomes or work place practices created lifestyles for these people that they died well before they could see retirement age. I am not sure if they were the lucky few or not. But what if they had a better life that they could have been more healthier to have lived on into their retirement years to enjoy the fruits of their working years. Unfortunately not!

The last group of people ie 56% of the students were not in a physical or mental capacity to work at the time of retirement and hence had to be either be looked after by family or by the state.

These people had probably good jobs during their working life at their careers. Unfortunately they just had not enough savings when retirement came.

What had happened was they had failed to plan for their later years.

I Need To Make Money and Not Be Living Pay-Check To Pay-Check!

What is even more alarming is that today people are still living paycheck to paycheck. They have mounting credit card debt which does not include home mortgages and student loans.

Quite a few of these people try to go out and find jobs at retirement and have to fight for work against the rising un-employment levels that doesn’t make it any easier. But what if you are unemployed need money now?
