How To Manage Your Facebook Friends – Lesson 2

July 18, 2016 by Claude Fullinfaw Leave a Comment

Have you ever thought about how would it be if you could find your friends among the many Facebook contact you have easily. Well I am about to share you a neat little trick that can help you be more organized and allow you to stay in contact when ever you wish.

Follow these steps below …

Step-1: Log into Facebook and click on your ‘Home’ page to the top of the page.

Creating Fb Lists

Step-2: On the next page please move your eye to the left column and scroll down till you see the listing called ‘Friends’. You may see one or two list visible and the rest are hidden so run your mouse over to the right of ‘Friends’. You will see a gray “More” appear which is a clickable link. Please click that 🙂

Step-3:  On the next page you will see possibly one or two list such as Family and Friends that Facebook has created by default for you. Now I want you to click on ‘Create List’.

Step-4:  A pop up box will appear allowing you to create your first list. Here you should give your list a name and a small description. Then hit create.

Name The List
Name The List

Step-5:  Once you have the list created you can add friends to this list. Its as easy as that.

Here are some 5 examples of lists you can create

  1. School friends
  2. College friends
  3. Work mates
  4. Prospects living in Sydney
  5. Hot prospects

As you can see you can now populate these lists with people and when you want to send a msg to a specific group you can send it without spamming everyone else. How good is that. 🙂

I my next post on Facebook Marketing I will show you how to post to a specific group.

How To Set Up Facebook | All About – The About Page

July 1, 2016 by Claude Fullinfaw Leave a Comment

In this post on Facebook Marketing I will cover a number of areas that I see most people tend to leave out. We will be talking about our Profile Page and what we must look at before we actually start to engage with people.

We all want to leave out the boring admin parts such as setting up our profile page properly and jump into the exciting bits such as posting, LIKE and commenting. But if we don’t brand ourselves well people will not know who we are and may not be attracted to us as leaders in the community.

How To Set Up Facebook For Marketing!

So this leads me to how to set-up your FB Profile Page for a start.

In the picture below you will see a snap shot of my page. You will notice two arrows.

The About Page!

  1. The first arrow points to the intro on my page. Here you will see a bit about me and maybe you can see my website link too. This information is pulled from my About Page. If you were to set this up well you could have a pretty god lead generation site happening soon. So this leads us to the second arrow.
  2. Click the green arrow which says About Page. Lets go to the next picture below now 🙂

Your Profile Page

Populating The About Page!

On the next page you will see my page that looks like the one below. Look at where the green arrow points. You will see a number of fields populated with my information. Where did this information come from and where do you fill this all in? I want you to click the red arrow that points to each of the different tabs to the left. Start to fill that in with the appropriate information needed. Link to other pages too. Make sure all your information is relevant and up to date.

Why Facebook Should Be Your Preferred Choice Now In Marketing

June 29, 2016 by Claude Fullinfaw Leave a Comment

Today more and more people are on Facebook than ever before. If we are keeping away from Facebook for whatever reason we will miss the boat where communication is concerned. People are no longer sending letters let alone long emails. In the last 3 or 4 years messages are gotten to be more frequent and short.

Facebook marketing
Why Facebook Must Be Taken Seriously

Now Facebook is not where people go to buy products or services but rather where people catch up on gossip. Where people look at what their friends are doing and where people connect. If we can get people interested in what we do and then take the conversation either into a private messaging service as Messenger or direct them to our website we can subtly get them more interested in what we do.

My articles here will be more directed in helping you do two things:

  1. Set up your Facebook page so it looks more professional, and
  2. How to start to friend people on Facebook to create more lasting connections.

Look out for my next post on the various sections of a Facebook page and then I will go into each section in detail so you understand how to create a powerful marketing page.

Facebook Marketing – How To Run A More Profitable Facebook Fan Page

August 6, 2015 by Claude Fullinfaw

facebook marketing
facebook marketing

This is a short biopsy I did on a client recently when he asked me to look at his Facebook Fan Page.  If you have a fan page and not sure how to work it properly these tips may help you. GOOGLE + if of value.
Hi David here are some tips

Your main website
http://www.thesunshinecelebrant.com.au/

Its great website although I feel a few small tweaks can help make it even better.

1. Make it mobile friendly – it does not size well on mobile. This will prevent it from being in the first page listings in Google.

2. No video on this page.

3. Your Facebook snippet must have updates of whats happening on Facebook page too. This will make this page look even more exciting.

4. You don’t have GOOGLE Maps connected

5. You don’t have a My Google Business Listing yet

Your Fan Page
https://www.facebook.com/thecelebrant
In the About section.

This should be completed thoroughly using up as much space allowed by Facebook. This is wasted shop front.

1. In short description add a bit more. Add your name, your mobile number as well as your website link. Try and fill this up fully. When you add your website link here it gets seen on the main Facebook fan page. It can tempt people to click through and go to your site.

2. Add your mobile number here instead. Please use mobile more often

3. I don’t see a long description here. This must be filled in. Write a long essay with paragraphs and insert that here. Add your website link after the first paragraph, half way through the story and at the end. Also add your mobile number and email here too after your name.

Main Page

You are great in adding information regularly here. Great stuff 🙂
Here are some small tweaks you can add to see more results

1. Take some YouTube videos (one or two a week about your topic and insert it here. It will draw more people to your page. By adding other peoples work your page now becomes a good source of information.

2. The people who like your photos, etc are potential prospects. Thank them in a comment by name and ask them what intrigued them that they liked your photo, video, etc. This will draw them hopefully into a conversation with you and possibly you may find out that they are looking at getting married or someone they may know who is looking. By interacting with them their friends will notice this and be drawn to your page.

3. Each week ask a question and see if you get a reaction. Add just one comment a day under each post for 3 or 4 days. This way a post will be seen everyday for that duration of comments and will be more alive and active in newsfeeds. Keep your questions or comments Twitter style – short

4. You don’t have any videos yet- try adding at least one every month

5. You don’t have any reviews yet. Ask your clients if they be kind enough to give you a review. It increase social proof.

PS: When a person starts to ask too many questions take it of Facebook as you don’t want someone hijacking your page and robbing you of a potential client.

I hope all this helps

Claude
