Just been to Manila in March 2017 and found the city really exciting. Each time I visit the Philippines I find something new and this time it was with the Grab Taxi.
The Uber and Grab Taxi has certainly made travel in Manila so much more pleasant. People can now move from one place to another without waiting for a cab anymore.
But this is not the reason why I am so excited about Taxis or Grab Taxis in particular. What excites me is the fact that more and more people are turning to this new earning opportunity that taxi driving in the Grab fleet has given them. People now can use their own private car and earn money either part time or full time. Extra money is what most Filipinos want and this Grab opportunity certainly has allowed people to do just that.
