A Page In My Life Getting To Be That Leader I Envision Myself To Be

July 8, 2018 by Claude Fullinfaw Leave a Comment

Time is flying past literally as I work on my goal towards becoming a USANA Diamond.I set this goal right out of my comfort zone in December of 2017 aiming to be a Diamond by the same time in 2018.

Its getting closer to that date however I am am still miles away from arriving at my destination. What’s more important is that I had set that goal and the intention is set. Because without any intentions and goal setting I probably wouldn’t be aiming at anything at all.

Usana Business In Philippines
Collaboration With Like Minded People

With just 25 weeks to go to get there I still have a good chance in getting to my destination on time.

What have I accomplished in the last 6 months. During the last 6 months I have found another two leaders. Interestingly these two are on separate legs and are really serious in making things happen. So I have gone from working just two legs here in the Philippines to adding another team in Cebu. These people are excited to come on board as The USANA Cebu office will be opened later this month in July 2018.

The fourth team is in Germany just joining us in USANA opening in Europe. These changes will probably propel us closer to our 2018 goals.

I set the foundations for growth so its just a matter of time now to see who in the team will rise up and flourish. While all this is happening I will continue to do what needs to be done to make my goal of being a Diamond a reality.

Shall share regularly what is making this possible.

Working Towards Being A Diamond In USANA

June 14, 2018 by Claude Fullinfaw Leave a Comment

Its been a few weeks since I last wrote about my journey towards being a USANA Diamond.

Its an interesting journey as this is not only about me but more so about everyone in the team who directly and indirectly impact me into becoming the person I aspire to be.

A STEP FORWARD THEN TWO STEPS BACK!

I remember once when I was in Singapore one of my USANA Members in the team saying to me “ I take two steps forward and then I need to take one step backwards”. She said it in frustration as most people would. We all want to move fast from post to post and make rank advancements as quickly as we can.

In my case I sometimes take one step forward and before I know it I am forced to take 2 steps backwards. I now look at this as consolidating my position. I now call it “becoming the better, stronger leader within” before I can move forward.

USANA Business Success - How To Become A USANA Member
Learn From People Better Than You

I am learning to deal with all sort of situations and people. Situations where people place blame on team members or team for their lack of advanacement, to myself thinking how can I grow into a better person to help others.

GROWING PAIN!

These I could call growing pains as seen in teenagers when they have huge growth spurts in adolescence. Business is so much like a teenager – moody, temperamental and painful when growing.

But the experience of growth is exciting and challenging for what lies ahead. The mystery of growing is attractive and mesmerising.  I am becoming the better leader I always wanted to be. I never knew I had to go through all this but sure its seems wonderful now that I am faced with their opportunities to learn and grow.

In the last four months I have heard great stories about success from ordinary people gone before me. Some of these stories I am capturing and adding them here on this blog to motivate people just like me to aspire for more.

Stay tuned as I will add more to this journey of mine in becoming the Diamond I want to be. My Diamond, My Life!

A Story How I Persisted To Help Someone

June 11, 2018 by Claude Fullinfaw Leave a Comment

A couple of weeks ago I went to see a new member called Bong and Aline in Pasig. Pasig is a very big suburb in Manila and has so many streets that getting lost is very easy to do.

That Monday we were two of us attempting to help this couple get started in their home based business in USANA.

There was Nora who agreed to come along to be my interpreter as I am not good at speaking Tagalog yet. She was coming from Fairview and like me had no idea exactly where we were to meet.

WHEN THINGS GET HARD DONT DISPAIR!

I on my end was heading to Pasig from Makati and getting to the area was fast as my Grab Driver was good. But then all trouble broke out. We couldn’t locate the exact location and what should have been a 45 minute trip stretched to over 90 minutes and I was scared that my driver in frustration would drop me off in the area and I be totally lost. Fortunately he had a heart of gold and stayed on to assist me.

While this was happening at my end, Nora was having her fair share of troubles too. She had started the day really early and after 3 hours was so lost it was hilarious.

Home based business in USANA
Always work with the end in mind

As midday approached the summer sun beat down on us and we wanted to throw things in and go back to Makati. I was still separated from Nora.

While all this was happening …

The couple had no idea to what was happening as they were not checking their phones and so all our SOS messages were being unheeded.

There was a moment I felt like giving up and cancelling everything. But my better sense got the upper hand that hot day and I preserved and kept searching. Eventually we found each other and also managed to find our new members Aline and Bong.

To cut a long story short this couple has now got started in the business of USANA, and striving to do everything we have taught them that day.

But what if we had given up and gone home just because of our frustrations of being lost. They would never have gotten the support they badly needed.

WHY TELL YOU THIS!

In life something we must place ourselves second to serve others better. Most things in life will never come when we want them to. However they will come if we preserve had enough and long enough. Sadly most people quit too early never to see the results they so badly wanted and so badly deserve.

HAVE YOU PICKED UP A LESSON HERE?

I hope you have picked up the main Essence here and that is never quit when its gets too hard. Remember when it gets hard its a sign you are getting closer to your goals.

I hope you have learned something again today from my experiences in life.

Like this post to encourage me to keep on writing.

May 6th 2018 – Running For Diamond – Its the beginning of the 5th month since I started

May 6, 2018 by Claude Fullinfaw Leave a Comment

This is a quick update on my journey to become a USANA Diamond.

Its been a few weeks since I last posted, in fact its about 3 months since I wrote a post here. Funny I began posting everyday and slowly it became a few posts a week then gradually slipped every second week and before I knew it I stopped posting.

Its not that I had stopped doing my business, its just I lost focus on this activity as others took priority.

Looking back what I should have done was not to set daily goals sound posting. I should have done 4 post a month and posted weekly. That would have been more achievable and I would have stayed on top of my task and not let this task slip by.

I will update in another post what I have been doing since I slipped off in Mid Jan this year.

May 8 2018 – How I am working the business now in Usana

May 5, 2018 by Claude Fullinfaw Leave a Comment

One of the reasons why I started not doing my posting was because I took on Simon Chan’s DMO or Daily Method of Operation. Its the schedule you have everyday towards doing your work.

Since Feb 8th I have been doing the following everyday.

  • Live video
  • social posts
  • approaches’
  • followups
  • presentations
  • helping team with their team presentations
  • Facilitating in trainings
  • running webinars twice a week
  • Running in house training
  • doing my daily personal development reading
  • Training and mentoring team

This has lifted my game up to another level. In fact since the day I started DMO I have not missed a day nor have I slacked off a bit. I have been unwell twice during this time and still managed to complete my DMO. Even while I travelled to India I was able to do my task everyday on the 9 day trip overseas.

Am focusing on finding 4 members who will do this no matter what. So far I have found 3 members who 99% of the time do their DMO everyday. If you are reading this and want to be mentored by someone who is highly focused and driven and if you have goals and dreams and want guidance do send me a note and I will msg you back.
